Shom Awards Contract to RTsys for NemoSens Micro-AUV for Seabed Surveys
The French Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service (Shom) has awarded RTsys a contract for the NemoSens autonomous underwater micro-drone, aimed at enhancing seabed data acquisition as part of Shom's modernization program. Set for delivery in 2026, the NemoSens will facilitate high-resolution mapping of the continental shelf and address the needs of both civilian and defense sectors. The French Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service (Shom) awarded a contract to RTsys for a NemoSens autonomous underwater micro-drone after a seven-month tender process. The order, part of Shom's modernization program, is aimed at improving seabed data acquisition by 2024.
