Siemens and Ubtech Partner for Humanoid Robot Production Expansion
Siemens and Ubtech are collaborating to enhance the mass production of humanoid robots, targeting an output of 10,000 units annually by 2026. This partnership signifies a shift toward efficient manufacturing practices in the humanoid robotics sector.

Siemens Digital Industries Software and Ubtech are partnering to transition humanoid robot production from pilot stages to industrial scale. Ubtech aims to achieve an annual capacity of 10,000 humanoid robots by 2026, driven by demand in logistics and factory applications.
The collaboration focuses on establishing an end-to-end digital thread utilizing Siemens' PLM software, allowing Ubtech to create a digital twin for the entire development lifecycle. Siemens has also tested humanoid robotics in its Erlangen, Germany facility, where a robot performed logistics tasks autonomously. This integration of robotics into operational environments highlights the importance of real-world interaction for effective AI deployment.
