Simplexity Robotics has raised CNY2 billion (USD289.3 million) in less than six months to enhance its embodied intelligence technologies. Investors include Tencent Holdings, Alibaba Group, and others, leading to a valuation exceeding USD1 billion.

Founded in July 2022 by Jia Peng, Wang Kai, and Wang Jiajia, all from Li Auto, the company integrates advanced AI models to improve robotic capabilities. Its LaST₀ model addresses rapid response in dynamic environments. Simplexity Robotics is moving from closed to open application scenarios, with initial robot production and proof-of-concept testing in Beijing, Shanghai, and Suzhou.
