Sitegeist, a startup from Munich, has raised €4 million in pre-seed funding to expand its AI-driven robotic solutions for concrete renovation. The funding round was co-led by b2venture and OpenOcean, with participation from various angel investors.

Sitegeist addresses Europe's significant infrastructure repair backlog, utilizing autonomous, modular robots capable of operating in complex environments without prior digitization. These robots can perform concrete removal up to ten times faster than manual methods, aiming to alleviate labor shortages in the construction industry. The company plans to hire more talent and deploy its technology across additional job sites, enhancing capabilities for tasks beyond concrete removal.
