Skyborne Technologies Secures Safety Release for CODiAQ Armed Quadruped Under $6.5M Contract
Skyborne Technologies has received a Limited Safety Release from the U.S. Department of War for its CODiAQ armed unmanned ground system, enabling the system to enter Operational Test & Evaluation. Skyborne Technologies achieved a Limited Safety Release for its CODiAQ system, allowing progression into Operational Test & Evaluation and combat evaluations. This release is part of a $6.5 million RDT&E contract to deliver 14 quadruped robotic systems and 28 modular weapon payloads, including 24 months of support and training.
Testing was conducted by the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Center, ensuring compliance with Department safety standards. The CODiAQ, designed for complex environments, incorporates operator control and advanced payload features, supporting U.S. and allied tactical needs.
