Skynopy Secures Airbus Partnership to Optimize Satellite Data Transmission
Skynopy, founded in October 2023, aims to enhance satellite data transmission by connecting operators to underutilized ground stations. The startup targets 100 antennas within two and a half years, leveraging a $15 million funding round to reach a projected revenue of €200 million in four years.

Skynopy has established over 35 antennas across 17 locations and serves around ten operators, including Airbus Defence and Space. The company employs an API that allows clients to book antenna time automatically based on satellite position, reducing latency from 90 to 20 minutes and doubling data volume through dynamic modulation.
Founded by Pierre Bertrand and Antoine Hirsch, both experienced engineers in the aerospace sector, Skynopy aims to expand to 100 antennas in two and a half years, with a strong potential in defense applications. The startup's growth strategy includes securing contracts that charge clients per minute of network use, especially for large operators.
