Smack Technologies Secures $32M to Establish Frontier AI Lab for U.S. National Security
Smack Technologies has raised $32 million in Series A funding to create the first frontier AI lab focused on national security. Led by Geodesic Capital and Costanoa Ventures, the funding aims to develop AI models for the U.S. Department of War to enhance decision-making capabilities. The company, co-founded by MARSOC veterans Andrew Markoff and Clint Alanis, has secured contracts with various U.S. military branches, including the Joint Fires Network and Marine Corps Warfighting Lab. The funding will accelerate research and development of their AI product suites, Omega and Alpha.
