SMC Deutschland GmbH has inaugurated a new Industrial Application Center (IAC) in Dresden, Germany, aimed at enhancing its role within the Silicon Saxony technology cluster. The 180 square meter facility serves as a co-creation hub for companies and experts to develop automation solutions in a practical environment, facilitating real-world application demonstrations.

The IAC will support industries including semiconductor manufacturing, automotive, mechanical engineering, and food processing, hosting workshops and technical consultations to refine requirements and develop tailored applications. This initiative aligns with SMC's commitment to innovation and advancing industrial automation, contributing to the broader evolution of Industry 4.0 principles.
