SNT Dynamics Achieves U.S. Cybersecurity Certification for Defense Contracts
SNT Dynamics has secured the U.S. Department of War's cybersecurity certification, a new requirement for defense contracts. This milestone positions the South Korean firm to enhance its competitiveness in the U.S. defense market.

On April 15, SNT Dynamics announced it is the first South Korean defense company to obtain cybersecurity certification from the U.S. Department of War. Jung Ki-youl achieved the Lead Certified CMMC Assessor qualification, marking a significant advancement under the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) system.
Previously, SNT Dynamics earned Level 1 certification in 2024 and is now pursuing Level 2 certification by July 2026. The U.S. Department of War intends to mandate Level 2 for future contracts, which may restrict companies without this certification from accessing U.S. defense markets. This development could reshape the competitive landscape for defense suppliers in South Korea.
