SOCAR Türkiye to Supply Gas and Electricity to TAV Airports from 2025
SOCAR Türkiye has signed an agreement with TAV Airports to supply natural gas and electricity to Ankara Esenboğa Airport starting in 2025, expanding their partnership that began in 2020. The contract aims to enhance supply security and operational sustainability, while also addressing TAV's annual electricity demand of approximately 75,000 MWh at both Ankara and İzmir Adnan Menderes Airports. This initiative aligns with SOCAR Türkiye's Gas-to-Power strategy, promoting efficient resource management.
