Solarcleano to Build €7M Factory in Luxembourg to Expand Robotics Production
Solarcleano plans to double its robotics production in Luxembourg with a new €7 million factory in Grass, set to open in mid-2027. The company, a spinoff of Fallprotec, aims to add 20 jobs and address growing orders for its autonomous solar panel cleaning robots. Solarcleano serves 90 partners across 117 countries and currently employs 50 people in Luxembourg. The new facility will enhance manufacturing and R&D capabilities and follows the announcement of a robotics assembly line opening in Zhengzhou, China, by April 2026.

Solarcleano is expanding its robotics production in Luxembourg by constructing a €7 million factory in Grass, scheduled to open in mid-2027. This new facility will add 20 jobs and address the increasing volume of orders for its autonomous solar panel cleaning robots.
The company, which has been operational since 2017, serves 90 partners in 117 countries and currently employs 50 people in Luxembourg. The new site will provide additional manufacturing and R&D space, effectively doubling the company’s production capacity. Additionally, Solarcleano is set to launch a robotics assembly line in Zhengzhou, China, by April 2026 to supply the local market with 500 machines annually.
