South Korea and Netherlands Discuss Arms Industry Cooperation in Seoul

South Korea's Vice Defense Minister Lee Doo-hee and Dutch Minister Gijs Tuinman met in Seoul to discuss expanding cooperation in the arms industry, AI, space, and cyber security. Lee requested Netherlands' support regarding North Korea's threats.

Separately, South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi agreed to enhance cooperation amid regional challenges. They emphasized the importance of bilateral relations, especially with respect to trade and security issues involving China and North Korea. The leaders plan to focus on deepening trust and potentially addressing historical disputes and humanitarian cooperation.
