Southern Energy (SESA) and SEFE Securing Energy for Europe have finalized a contract in Berlin for the sale of 2 million tons of LNG annually for 8 years, commencing in late 2027. This agreement follows a framework deal from December.

The LNG will be produced by the 'Hilli Episeyo' vessel in Río Negro, Argentina, and constitutes over 80% of its production capacity. The contract's revenues will help monetize Argentina's gas resources from Vaca Muerta and enhance foreign currency generation.
