Southern Energy and SEFE Sign LNG Sales Contract in Berlin for 2 Million Tons Annually
Southern Energy (SESA) and SEFE Securing Energy for Europe signed a contract in Berlin for the sale of 2 million tons of LNG annually for 8 years, starting in late 2027. This contract follows a framework agreement announced in December. The LNG will be sourced from the 'Hilli Episeyo' liquefaction vessel in Río Negro, Argentina. The deal represents over 80% of the vessel's production capacity and aims to strengthen Argentina's position as a strategic LNG supplier to Europe.
