Southern Glazer's Partners with Corvus Robotics for Nationwide Drone Inventory System Deployment
Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits has partnered with Corvus Robotics to implement a nationwide autonomous drone inventory system. Over 40 Corvus One drones have been deployed across nine distribution centers, enhancing inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. The system has completed around 5,000 flights, identifying over 35,000 discrepancies. Benefits include increased inventory validation frequency, improved cases per hour, and more efficient labor use, allowing teams to focus on higher-value tasks. The collaboration aims to standardize inventory management practices across the network.

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is rolling out the Corvus One autonomous inventory management system nationwide, having deployed over 40 drones in nine distribution centers. The system has completed approximately 5,000 flights, identifying over 35,000 discrepancies.
The deployment has led to a 100-basis point improvement in cases per hour and a shift from quarterly to biweekly inventory validation. This transition reallocates 60 to 70 labor hours per week per site from manual counting to resolving discrepancies. The partnership focuses on continuous improvement and standardization of inventory management practices across the network.
