SpiderOak Awarded Contract by U.S. Army for Drone Dominance Program Cybersecurity Assessments
SpiderOak has been contracted by the U.S. Army's PMO UAS to conduct supply chain and cybersecurity evaluations for the Drone Dominance Program. Utilizing its ACTRA methodology, SpiderOak will assess vendor platforms for cybersecurity resilience and compliance with U.S. Government standards. The Drone Dominance Program aims to evaluate and select next-generation UAS capabilities, with an initial testing event held in February 2026.

SpiderOak has secured a contract with the U.S. Army's Program Office for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (PMO UAS) to perform supply chain and cybersecurity evaluations for vendors in the Drone Dominance Program (DDP).
This program, initiated in February 2026, focuses on enhancing small UAS capabilities through a multi-phase assessment process. SpiderOak, recognized as a Blue UAS Assessor, will implement its Advanced Cyber Threat & Resilience Assessments (ACTRA) methodology to ensure compliance with U.S. security standards and evaluate platform integrity. Initial testing at Fort Benning included 25 vendors, aiming to select up to 12 for mass production of UAS systems, with targets reaching hundreds of thousands by 2028.
