The SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Naval Academy (INA) to enhance collaboration in technical education and research. The agreement aims to foster cooperation in areas including artificial intelligence, machine learning, and green energy.

The MoU provides for up to eight M.Tech seats and six PhD seats annually for Indian Navy personnel, with a total of 30 doctoral registrations over five years. The partnership will facilitate academic visits and joint research initiatives, benefiting both cadets and faculty from the institutions.
