St. Lucie County to Attract Over $266 Million Investment for Industrial Growth by 2026
In 2026, six companies plan to invest over $266.3 million in St. Lucie County, creating approximately 1,664 jobs and 3 million square feet of industrial facilities. Key companies include Costco, Inkas, and Freedom Boat Club, most of which will receive property tax incentives. Several projects are expected to be completed this year, while additional undisclosed projects are under consideration, including a 1-million-square-foot facility known as 'Project Scale'.

Six companies are set to invest more than $266.3 million in St. Lucie County by 2026, creating about 1,664 jobs and 3 million square feet of industrial space. Major investments include Costco's $149 million facility, which will be solar powered and employ 370 workers, and Inkas' $38 million facility in Fort Pierce, with 294 jobs.
Other projects include LactaLogics' $92 million facility and Mohnark Pharmaceuticals' expansion. Several future projects remain undisclosed, including 'Project Cast' for aluminum manufacturing and 'Project Scale' for a technology facility. The Economic Development Council manages these initiatives.
