Two architectural features facilitated this implementation: the existing use of STARKs for verification, which are resistant to quantum attacks, and the account abstraction that enables upgrades at the account level without a protocol overhaul. The broader roadmap includes phases targeting the migration of elliptic-curve dependencies to post-quantum alternatives.
