Starlink Satellite Anomaly Reported, No Risk to Artemis II or ISS
SpaceX's Starlink satellite 34343 experienced a communications loss at 560 km, with no new risks identified for Artemis II or the ISS. Active monitoring and coordination with NASA and the U.S. Space Force are in place to address the situation.

SpaceX reported that Starlink satellite 34343 lost contact due to an on-orbit anomaly at approximately 560 km altitude. Analysis confirms no new risks to the International Space Station (ISS) or NASA's Artemis II mission, scheduled for launch on April 1.
SpaceX will continue monitoring the situation and coordinate efforts with NASA and the U.S. Space Force. The anomaly has also resulted in debris generation, which is being tracked.
LeoLabs detected the fragment event and noted similarities to a previous incident involving another Starlink satellite. This emphasizes the importance of rapid characterization of such events for better operational clarity.
