Sterling Oil and Partners Launch Empowerment Program for 100 Women in Akwa Ibom
A vocational training initiative has been initiated for 100 women in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, aimed at poverty alleviation. This program is a collaboration between SEEPCO, VCDF, and the Nigerian Army.

The empowerment program focused on enhancing vocational skills for 100 underprivileged women in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. The initiative, supported by Sterling Oil Exploration and Energy Production Company (SEEPCO) Limited, Vcare for Development Foundation (VCDF), and the Nigerian Army's 6 Battalion, was conducted over five days at the Ibagwa Barracks.
Training included skills in Ankara craft, catering, soap making, and hairdressing. This initiative may contribute to local economic development and improve the livelihoods of participants, potentially leading to broader community benefits.
