STM Advances Türkiye's Maritime Defense with 44 Naval Platforms and International Projects
STM has delivered 44 naval platforms across 11 shipyards, bolstering Türkiye's maritime defense capabilities and decreasing reliance on foreign military shipbuilding. Significant projects include the delivery of four ADA-class corvettes and the TCG İSTANBUL frigate, alongside ongoing construction of national frigates and logistics support vessels for Turkey, Pakistan, and Portugal. Additionally, STM is advancing submarine engineering and unmanned systems, enhancing Türkiye's global maritime presence.

STM has delivered 44 naval platforms across 11 shipyards, enhancing Türkiye's defense capabilities and reducing foreign dependency in military shipbuilding. Key projects include four ADA-class corvettes, the TCG İSTANBUL frigate delivered in 2024, and ongoing construction of seven national frigates.
STM has also developed logistics support vessels for Turkey, Pakistan, and Portugal, marking Türkiye’s first military ship export to an EU and NATO member. In submarine engineering, STM supports the construction and modernization of the Reis-class submarines and the Ay-, Preveze-, and Gür-class submarines, including Türkiye's first submarine modernization export to Pakistan. The company is advancing unmanned systems with the NETA Autonomous Underwater Vehicle, aiming to showcase Türkiye's maritime capabilities globally.
