The U.S. Department of Defense has selected Stratolaunch and Varda Space Industries as launch providers for the Multi-Service Advanced Capability Hypersonic Test Bed (MACH-TB) 2.0 program. This initiative aims to enhance the frequency of flight tests for hypersonic technologies, with a target of conducting 50 hypersonic flight tests annually. The announcement was made by the DoD Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) and the National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL).
