Stryker has launched the Trident II Acetabular System in India, aiming to enhance total hip arthroplasty outcomes. The system features advanced materials and robotic capabilities, compatible with Mako SmartRobotics™, and includes the Innerchange Locking Mechanism for surgical flexibility.
The Trident II has been recognized as the most implanted acetabular shell in Australia for two decades. It utilizes Tritanium In-Growth Technology and X3 highly crosslinked polyethylene for improved performance and stability. The introduction of this system is significant, given the rising global demand for hip replacements driven by aging populations and mobility disorders.
