Students Develop AI Robot NOVA to Combat Procrastination
Three students aim to turn their AI robot NOVA into a startup to help reduce distractions. Public voting will determine its future.

Three students from Rostock have developed an AI-supported robot named NOVA, designed to reduce distractions during learning and working. Currently, they are participating in the 'Startup Teens' competition, where their project is among the top five in the 'AI & Robotics' category.
NOVA uses behavioral analysis to identify when users lose focus, providing motivational prompts to enhance productivity. The public can vote until June 10, 2026, to support their advancement. Professor Rouven Seifert will continue to mentor the students, helping them navigate the business world regardless of the competition outcome. This initiative demonstrates the increasing intersection of education and technology, highlighting the potential for innovative solutions in productivity.
