Stuttgart Initiates Construction of Green Hydrogen Pipeline
A four-kilometer hydrogen pipeline construction has begun in Stuttgart, set to finish within one year. The project enhances the Green Hydrogen Hub's capacity to produce 1,200 tons of green hydrogen annually.

The Green Hydrogen Hub Stuttgart aims to distribute high-purity green hydrogen generated at the Stuttgarter Hafen, with the pipeline construction now underway. Stuttgart Netze GmbH is concurrently installing new 110-kV high-voltage cables to improve infrastructure.
This initiative is backed by funding from the European Regional Development Fund, the state of Baden-Württemberg, and the Verband Region Stuttgart. The production facility is certified under Renewable Fuels of Non-Biological Origin (RFNBO), indicating compliance with strict sustainability standards. The successful implementation of this project may enhance regional energy security and contribute to decarbonization efforts in the area.
