SubUAS Establishes Presence at St. Petersburg Maritime and Defense Technology Hub
SubUAS has opened a facility at the Maritime and Defense Technology Hub in St. Petersburg, Florida, focusing on dual-use air-sea drones developed by Dr. Javier Diaz. The company, which has secured nearly $16 million in defense contracts since 2016, selected this location for its proximity to MacDill Air Force Base and the U.S. Coast Guard. The community will learn more about SubUAS during the State of Science and Innovation event at USF St. Pete on January 28.

SubUAS, a company specializing in dual-use air-sea drones, has opened a facility at the Maritime and Defense Technology Hub in St. Petersburg, Florida. The drones, developed by Dr.
Javier Diaz and capable of transitioning between air and water, are manufactured in New Jersey. SubUAS has secured nearly $16 million in defense contracts since 2016 and chose the Hub for its location near MacDill Air Force Base and the U.S.
Coast Guard. The community will be introduced to SubUAS during the State of Science and Innovation event at USF St. Pete on January 28.
