Successful Flight-Test of Long-Range Land Attack Cruise Missile Conducted by DRDO
The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) achieved a successful flight-test of the LRLACM, meeting all objectives. This test demonstrates India's advancing capabilities in indigenous missile development.

On Monday, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) conducted a successful flight-test of the long-range land attack cruise missile (LRLACM) off the coast of Odisha. The test met all specified objectives, confirmed through data from tracking instruments.
The LRLACM features entirely indigenous sub-systems developed by DRDO laboratories and industry collaborators, with the Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE) in Bengaluru serving as the project lead. Senior officials from DRDO and representatives from the Indian Navy and Air Force observed the launch. This successful test underscores India's commitment to enhancing defense capabilities, potentially impacting regional security dynamics and defense procurement strategies.
