The Sudanese army claimed to have repelled Rapid Support Forces (RSF) attacks in Kordofan and Darfur, inflicting heavy losses on the RSF. Over 24 hours, the army reported destroying 35 combat vehicles and seizing 49 during an RSF assault on Al-Tina.

Another attack on Al-Dilling was also repelled, resulting in the destruction of five combat vehicles. Additionally, the army downed a hostile drone over El-Obeid. The RSF had previously claimed control of Bara in North Kordofan, which the army confirmed was lost after intense fighting. The conflict, which began in April 2023, has resulted in tens of thousands of deaths and nearly 13 million displaced.
