SWELECT Energy Systems Limited has commissioned a 110/33 KV Pooling Substation in Tamil Nadu to support a 50 MW solar project. This infrastructure enhancement is crucial for improving renewable energy transmission in the region.

SWELECT Energy Systems Limited has commenced operations of a new 110/33 KV Pooling Substation in Sirungattur, Tamil Nadu, effective April 16, 2026. The substation, featuring a 1 x 50 MVA transformer, is designed to facilitate 110 KV connectivity at the Sirungattur 110/33-11 KV substation.
This development will enable the efficient evacuation of power from a 50 MW solar project located in the Villupuram Operation Circle. The commissioning of this substation underscores SWELECT's commitment to enhancing its renewable energy infrastructure and ensuring reliable power delivery in compliance with regulatory standards. Strengthened grid connectivity may further accelerate the adoption of solar energy in the state.
