Emergency measures include evacuating three families from al-Waseeta al-Sharqiya and preparing safe evacuation routes. Following a berm collapse on March 20, which flooded 600 hectares of agricultural land, a state of alert was declared, and an emergency response committee was formed to coordinate efforts among various agencies.

Civil Defense teams in northern Syria are actively reinforcing earthen berms in Idlib and Aleppo to mitigate flooding risks due to rising water levels. Assessments identified vulnerable spots, particularly in Sabkhat al-Sayha.
As a precaution, three families were evacuated from al-Waseeta al-Sharqiya, and gravel was laid along the al-Husseiniyah-al-Tuwem road for safe passage. After a berm collapse on March 20, which flooded around 600 hectares of farmland, the General Authority for the Management and Development of al-Ghab declared a state of alert and formed an emergency response committee to coordinate rapid responses.
