TAE Aerospace Partners with RMAF for Veteran Transition to Civilian Aerospace Jobs
TAE Aerospace has partnered with Ex-Servicemen Affairs Corporation to facilitate the transition of retiring RMAF personnel into civilian roles in aircraft maintenance. This initiative includes training and recruitment, aligning with TAE's plans to establish a military engine overhaul facility in Malaysia.

TAE Aerospace has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ex-Servicemen Affairs Corporation (Perhebat) to prepare retiring Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) personnel for careers in aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul. The initiative aims to leverage the existing skills of veterans, with training programs ranging from six to 18 months.
TAE's facility at RMAF Butterworth is expected to employ around 50 Malaysians and serve as a regional hub for military engine maintenance, targeting Southeast Asia and beyond. Successful transitions for veterans like Mohamad Zabidi indicate a promising future in the aerospace sector, which may enhance workforce stability in Malaysia's aerospace industry.
