South Chungcheong Province is advancing plans to establish Taean Cheonsu Bay as a strategic hub for aviation and defense industries. On the 10th, a business agreement was signed to promote the region as a center for future aviation manufacturing and demonstration, linked to the Defense Future Aviation Research Center under construction.

The agreement involves creating a specialized industrial complex, enhancing transportation, and providing stable utilities to attract businesses. A total of 329.4 billion won will be invested in the research center by 2032, featuring facilities for drone R&D. This initiative aims to integrate research and manufacturing and enhance the local industrial ecosystem.
