TaiLan New Energy Launches 'Safe+' Solid-State Battery for AI Robotics
Chongqing TaiLan New Energy has introduced its 'Safe+' solid-state battery solution for AI applications, with the first batch delivered for testing. This development addresses the limitations of traditional lithium batteries, supporting the growing robotics market projected to surpass $400 billion by 2029.

On April 14, TaiLan New Energy launched its 'Safe+' solid-state battery solution designed for embodied AI applications. The batteries can operate in temperatures from -40°C to 80°C and maintain a 1C continuous discharge at -40°C, making them suitable for outdoor robotic tasks in extreme conditions.
Traditional liquid lithium batteries face challenges in high-load and long-duration operations, which this solid-state technology aims to overcome. TaiLan's approach integrates mechanical, electrical, and thermal performance in the design phase, ensuring high safety standards. The robotics market is expected to exceed $400 billion by 2029, indicating strong demand for advanced battery solutions.
