Taiwan Army Artillery Training Command Opens New Base in Tainan
The Army Artillery Training Command has inaugurated the Tangshan Base in Guanmiao, Tainan, following its relocation from Yongkang, which had been its home since 1952. President Lai Ching-te highlighted the base's enhancements to military training and capabilities, supported by newly procured weapons, and noted its potential to drive local development through future public construction projects. Vice Defense Minister Admiral Chung Shu-ming stressed the importance of long-term planning in modern warfare.
