Taiwan Completes Delivery of 291 US Anduril Altius 600M Drones
Taiwan has successfully received all 291 Anduril Altius 600M drones from the US, completing the delivery of this advanced weapon system. The drones, capable of reconnaissance and attacks with a range of 160 km, are part of Taiwan's broader military enhancement efforts, which also include the integration of MQ-9B Reaper drones and agreements for US submarine and helicopter components. Additionally, funding for further military purchases has been approved by Taiwan's Legislative Yuan amidst ongoing defense budget discussions.

Taiwan has received 291 Anduril Altius 600M Switchblade drones from the US, marking full delivery of the weapons system. Deliveries commenced in August last year, following a sale authorization by Washington 14 months prior.
The Altius 600M drones have a range of 160km and can be used for reconnaissance or attacks, featuring foldable wings for transport. Taiwan's military is also integrating MQ-9B Reaper drones and other systems.
Additionally, Taiwan signed agreements for US submarine and helicopter components, allocating NT$1.49 billion for each. The Legislative Yuan approved funding for further US military purchases, including M109 howitzers and HIMARS, amidst ongoing defense budget discussions.
