Taiwan Relocates Regional Office to Denver to Strengthen U.S. Ties
Taiwan's regional office moved to Denver to foster relationships and enhance investment opportunities across six states. The office aims to improve understanding of Taiwan's geopolitical challenges and promote mutual business investments.

Taiwan's Taipei Economic and Cultural Office relocated to Denver from Kansas City to leverage the connectivity of Denver International Airport, facilitating access to Colorado and five surrounding states. The office's objectives include strengthening ties with local governments and chambers of commerce, and promoting investment initiatives between Taiwan and the U.S.
A memorandum of understanding was signed with the Colorado state government in January, indicating a commitment to this relationship. The Taiwanese representative emphasizes Taiwan's geopolitical challenges, particularly the threat from China, and highlights Taiwan's plan to increase national defense spending. The initiative aims to enhance Taiwan's visibility and understanding in the U.S., capitalizing on its semiconductor industry to attract further investment.
