Tampa Selects PMG Affordable for Downtown Revitalization Project Including Army Navy Surplus Site

DEFENSE

Tampa has selected PMG Affordable to redevelop four properties, including the Army Navy Surplus Store, in north downtown. The project will provide 1,150 residential units, with 70% allocated for affordable and workforce housing, surpassing the city's requirement of 800 units.

The development team includes the Tampa Housing Authority, Bank of America Community Development Company, and DuCon. This mixed-use project aims to enhance connectivity and pedestrian safety in the area, which is located near an Interstate 275 on-ramp. The initiative is expected to create hundreds of affordable homes for local workers.
