Tanghin-Dassouri Initiates Urban Road Construction to Improve Mobility and Security

DEFENSE

The special municipal delegation of Tanghin-Dassouri has launched major urban road construction to enhance mobility and reduce traffic congestion. The project involves several previously undeveloped roads critical for facilitating travel within the municipality.

Heavy machinery is actively working from National Route No. 1 (RN1) to residential areas. Rabiata Sawadogo, President of the special delegation, emphasized that this initiative addresses a longstanding need and aims to improve living conditions.

The roadworks are part of a broader local development vision, facilitating access to social services, improving traffic flow, and enhancing security for defense forces. The municipality sees these infrastructures as vital for local economic development, promoting trade and community attractiveness. Local residents, particularly affected during rainy seasons, view this project as a significant improvement to their living conditions.
