Tasmac Stops Sale of 11 Liquor Brands Due to FSSAI Findings
Tasmac has halted the sale of 11 liquor brands from Enrica Enterprises after FSSAI discovered artificial flavoring substances. This suspension affects both retail and wholesale distribution until further notice.

The Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (Tasmac) has suspended the sale of 11 liquor brands from Enrica Enterprises Pvt Ltd due to FSSAI findings regarding the presence of artificial flavoring substances. The brands affected include VSOP Exshaw Gold Brandy, McDowells VSOP Brandy, and Enrica Platinum Reserve XO Brandy.
Tasmac's directive, enacted by managing director K Nanthakumar, has been communicated to regional managers and distributors to cease all sales and transfers of these products. The FSSAI inspection occurred at Enrica's facility in Tiruvallur district, prompting immediate action to protect consumer safety. The impact of this ban could reduce market availability of widely consumed liquor brands.
