Tauron Polska Energia will supply renewable energy to Grupa Kęty and BZK Group under tailored power purchase agreements (PPAs). Grupa Kęty will receive nearly 200 GWh annually for four years through a physical sleeved PPA, sourcing electricity from a specific wind farm.
This arrangement allows Grupa Kęty to flexibly manage its energy demand and balance its operations. The contract permits adding renewable sources and splitting energy procurement into market-based purchases and direct wind farm supply. BZK Group will receive green energy from an 80 MW photovoltaic farm through an off-site PPA, ensuring access to renewable energy throughout the contract's duration.
