Tawazun Signs $643 Million in Defense Contracts at UMEX and Simtex 2026

DEFENSE

Tawazun Council for Defence Enablement signed contracts worth $643 million on behalf of the UAE Ministry of Defence at UMEX and Simtex 2026. Eight deals totaling $642.5 million were made in the first two days, including agreements with Edge Group for vehicle and drone development.

A contract for $7.6 million was signed with Houbara Defence for EOD vehicles. Further announcements are expected on the final day.
