TCL Inaugurates Guangzhou Smart Manufacturing Base, Aims for 10 Billion Yuan Output
TCL Air Conditioner inaugurated its Guangzhou Smart Manufacturing Base on March 28, targeting an output value of 10 billion yuan in five years. This facility enhances the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area's advanced manufacturing capabilities and is expected to generate over 10,000 jobs.

The TCL Air Conditioner Guangzhou Smart Manufacturing Base, inaugurated on March 28, is designed to achieve 10 billion yuan in output value over the next five years. With an initial output value expected to reach 3 billion yuan by 2026, the facility has a production capacity of 8 million units annually, operating at a rate of one air conditioner every 7 seconds.
Total investment is nearly 2 billion yuan, and the base consists of three dark factories, 10 production lines, and advanced AI integration for energy efficiency. The site also focuses on zero-carbon production, utilizing photovoltaic energy and achieving near-zero waste. TCL has produced 100 million air conditioners since 2021, ranking it among the top in global sales and exports, with a focus on AI-driven innovations in air conditioning technology.
