Team Wendy Ceradyne and Theon International to Develop Integrated Multi-Threat Headborne System for U.S. Army
Team Wendy Ceradyne and Theon International are collaborating to create an Integrated Multi-Threat Headborne System (IMHS) prototype for the U.S. Army, funded by the Army Combat Capabilities Development Command. This initiative aims to enhance soldier protection and situational awareness by integrating ballistic protection technologies with advanced electro-optical systems, including augmented reality. The prototype is set for evaluation in FY26 during a Soldier Touchpoint to assess its performance and gather user feedback.

Team Wendy Ceradyne and Theon International have partnered to develop an Integrated Multi-Threat Headborne System (IMHS) prototype funded by the U.S. Army. The initiative, supported by the Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Soldier Center, aims to enhance soldier protection and situational awareness.
The IMHS will integrate Team Wendy's ballistic protection technologies with Theon's electro-optical systems, including augmented reality capabilities. The program operates under a shared-cost model and includes contributions from Invisio, which provides tactical communications, and Revision, which supplies protective eyewear. The IMHS prototype will be evaluated in the Fourth Quarter of FY26 during a Soldier Touchpoint to assess its performance and gather user feedback.
