Teletactica has secured a grant from the Estonian Ministry of Defense to develop drone communication systems resistant to electronic warfare. With a budget of €300,000, the project will receive 40% funding from the Estonian government and is expected to last 18 months.
The team plans to create a tactical communication system with command-and-control capabilities for drones, leveraging prior experience from a communications ecosystem developed in Ukraine. Prototypes will be tested in collaboration with partners across Estonia and the Baltic states, focusing on ensuring stable operation at distances of 35-40 km in contested environments. The company is also producing its own drones to support these efforts.
