Tether, the issuer of the largest stablecoin (USDT), has partnered with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) to enhance Africa's digital economy and address rising threats from fraud and cybercrime. This collaboration aligns with the UN's 'Strategic Vision for Africa 2030' and aims to provide defense mechanisms against the estimated $260 million lost to crypto scams in the region.
Tether will focus on three project areas, combining innovation with education to support vulnerable communities.
