Texas LNG Awards Kiewit EPC Contract for Brownsville LNG Export Terminal
Texas LNG Brownsville has awarded Kiewit an EPC contract for its LNG export terminal at the Port of Brownsville, Texas. This contract is a significant step toward the project's final investment decision, with a capacity of four million tonnes per annum. Kiewit will handle engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the facility, expected to commence operations in 2028. Texas LNG also secured a 20-year supply deal with RWE for 1mtpa of LNG and a sales agreement with Macquarie Energy for 500,000 tonnes per annum.
