Transportadora de Gas Internacional (TGI) and Höegh Evi signed a binding commercial agreement for a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) for the La Guajira regasification plant, set to begin operations in Q1 2027. This initiative aims to meet Colombia's increasing natural gas needs and enhance national energy security.

The plant will integrate imported gas into the National Natural Gas Transport System, allowing for an entry of approximately 300 million cubic feet per day (MPCD), ensuring supply for Colombians and improving prices for industrial and thermal sectors. The agreement is part of TGI's commitment to eight projects with over $500 million in investments to strengthen Colombia's energy infrastructure.
