The discussions also included initiatives to promote Malaysian tourism in southern Thailand and the establishment of a 'Pondok Football League' to engage youth and strengthen community ties. The Fourth Army Area Commander of Thailand, Lt Gen Norathip Poinok, hosted a Malaysian delegation led by Lt Gen Datuk Rozali bin Alias for a strategic dialogue at Sena Narong Military Camp in Songkhla. The meeting focused on enhancing intelligence cooperation to address security challenges along the border.

Additionally, discussions included soft power initiatives such as promoting Malaysian tourism in southern Thailand and the introduction of a 'Pondok Football League' to foster youth engagement and community connections.
