The Hague is investing €100,000 in the AccessHubs project to make borrowing and renting everyday items more accessible, aiming to reduce waste and support a circular economy. The project will receive over €270,000 in EU support, with the goal of fostering local sharing and rental systems. Lending desks will be established in key neighborhoods, offering practical items like electronics and household appliances in trusted locations to facilitate access for residents, particularly those with limited resources.
