Thermal Energy International Inc. has secured a $1 million turnkey heat recovery project with a global nutrition company. The project will install a two-stage HeatSponge economizer on three natural gas-fired boilers, aimed at recovering waste heat.

Expected annual savings from natural gas are $285,000, with a 7% reduction in site-wide greenhouse gas emissions. This marks the ninth project with this client since 2019, totaling over $14.6 million across 28 sites in nine countries. The project is to be completed within six months, with gross margins anticipated to align with historical figures for similar projects.
